About Da Vinci Ristorante
The Italians are known for both their strong family orientation and of course for their cooking. At Da Vinci’s Ristorante in Millom rest assured that both characteristics are alive and well! We, Biagio and Gillian, run Da Vinci’s with essential support from children Alicia, Robert, Andrew and trained and talented chef Paul who enthusiastically ensures that Da Vinci’s is now known as “the” place to visit in this South Lakes region for the finest in Italian cuisine.
Our policy at Da Vinci’s is to create elegant but welcoming surroundings in which to enjoy a meal which itself is outstanding in content and value for money, the latter being borne out to perfection via our “Fiesta” menu where, for just £13.95 you can enjoy a starter, pizza or pasta, sweet and coffee. Da Vinci’s Menu Alla Carte offers a wider choice but still with an eye on cost and value for money. An impressive range of antipasti (starter) is followed by pizzas and pasta. All prepared with special Da Vinci coded ingredients, they range from the traditional to the attractively unusual but all are delicious and part of the reason that, with a solid Millom customer base, we continue to draw from as far afield as Manchester.
Our vegetarian friends are well catered for and steak, chicken and fish eaters continue to be thrilled by the choices on offer. All dishes are Italian themed but if you prefer something more English in style please just let us know, it is not a problem. Your main meal can be followed by a choice of attractive sweets and completed with coffee, our liqueur coffees proving to be very popular. As you might imagine, wine forms an important part of any Italian meal and our range of red, white, sparkling and speciality wines will please both your palate and your budget.
Situated on the site of the old West County Hotel, our verdict is that all customers are released, usually unwillingly, but with only a small charge against them! Da Vinci’s is open six evenings between 5.30pm and 10.30pm except Sunday when the hours are 5.00pm to 9.30pm.
